Maurisa Potts is a guest on Conversations in Public Relations.

Maurisa Potts is a marketing professional with over 15 years of professional marketing experience. Prior to starting her own consulting business, she was the Director of Marketing for the Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID). Maurisa helped enhance the image and perception of Crystal City, Arlington County’s largest downtown. Prior to her work with Crystal City, she was the Marketing Director for Akerman Senterfitt Wickwire Gavin, a  Top 100 national law firm and a Senior Marketing & Business Development Supervisor for Reed Smith LLP, a global law firm.

Maurisa serves on the Board for the Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce.  She is also a member of Success in the City Professional Women Organization, Ladies Who Launch, Washington Women in Public Relations, and a Social Committee Member for the Virginia Tech Alumni Association (National Capital Region).

Maurisa is a graduate of Virginia Tech University. She resides in Alexandria, VA with her husband and son.
