Rachel Maleh has almost 20 years of experience in creating and planning outreach campaigns that inform and educate community members, elected officials and media representatives through mailings, presentations, display materials, promotional materials and events.
As the Vice President of Public Awareness for VSA arts, Rachel is responsible for the organization’s external relations program, including media relations, publications, events, as well as the visual arts and performing arts programs.
Prior to joining VSA arts, Rachel was Vice President at Enterprise Community Partners, an non-profit organization that helps build low-income housing. Her previous experience also includes positions at The National Community Reinvestment Coalition, the Academy for Education Development, and the Peace Corps, where she served as a regional manager and public affairs officer.
Rachel has an M.S. in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University, an M.A. in International Relations and International Communications from Boston College, and a B.A. in Sociology and French (dual major) from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
