Frances Reimers is a guest on Conversations in Public Relations.

Frances Reimers is the Manager of ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership’s Greater Washington Network. She is responsible for creating quality programming and customer service for ASAE & The Center’s 8,600 members in the DC metro area by conceptualizing and implementing more than 100 idea swaps, forums and networking events each year. Bi-annually she works with the editorial staff to draft an insert to ASAE & The Center’s Associations Now magazine highlighting the Network’s activities. Frances also serves as the staff liaison for the volunteer Membership Action Team and the Content & Facilitation Action Team, helping to create and maintain a strategic plan and organize the group’s efforts. Additionally, she is the staff liaison for ASAE & The Center’s Young Professional Section Council. Finally, she also sits on ASAE & The Center’s staff advocacy team, which develops the organization’s policies.

Frances was previously employed as the Communications Specialist for the U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation. Her responsibilities included copywriting and producing 11 quarterly newsletters, coordinating the annual report, vendor liaison, drafting press releases, and managing media events.

Frances currently sits on the Young Nonprofit Network (YNPNdc) Board of Directors and is its Communications Chair. She also volunteers her time to the PRSA National Chapter as an event planner.

Frances received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, she currently resides in Washington, DC.
